Our Milestones

MAULE VALLEY

1922

French company Estansan & Co., realizing the enormous potential of the Maule Valley in terms of its location, soils and exceptional climate for the cultivation of vinifera vines, founds Viña Aromo.

WINE TRADITION

1936

Don Víctor Henríquez Solar decides to venture into the elaboration of fine wines and acquires the rights for Estansan & Co.'s winery, merging it with the extensive vineyards he inherited from his ancestors.

GENERATION AFTER GENERATION

1970

Arturo Henríquez M. and Manuel Henríquez M., from the family's second generation, join the business.

NATIONAL MARKET LEADER

1980

The wine, beverages and liquors for third-party products distribution company is born.

EXPANSION OF FIELDS

1990

The comapny purchases the 61-hectare "El Trapiche" estate and winery.

1997

Viña Aromo opens up to the world, consolidating its exports.

2000

The incorporation of the third generation of the family begins with the arrival of Manuel José Henríquez M.

CONSOLIDATION

2010

Viña Aromo consolidates exports, reaching more than twenty-five countries in four continents and incorporates Arturo Henríquez Arbizu (third generation).

2016

The new 3,200 m2 distribution center and sales room is built.
